Logan Runde, a senior right-handed pitcher from Peosta, Iowa, has been a valuable addition to the FIU Panthers baseball team. In the 2024 season, he made 14 appearances, including five starts, achieving a 4-2 record over 42.2 innings with 37 strikeouts. Notably, Runde secured a win in his debut for the Panthers by delivering four scoreless innings with five strikeouts against Long Island on February 16. Prior to joining FIU, he showcased his skills at Kirkwood Community College in 2023, starting 12 games and maintaining a 6-0 record with a 2.93 ERA, alongside 63 strikeouts over 63.1 innings. Runde's consistent performance and pitching prowess have significantly contributed to the Panthers' success on the mound.
