Julius Pierce, affectionately known as "Panda," is a veteran offensive lineman entering his graduate season at FIU. After a two-year stint at Middle Tennessee, Pierce returns to familiar territory in Miami, bringing leadership, toughness, and experience back to the Panthers’ trenches.

In 2024, Pierce saw action for Middle Tennessee in their opener against Tennessee Tech, earning a solid 70.9 PFF grade before a leg injury sidelined him for the rest of the season. The year prior, he was a consistent presence on the Blue Raiders’ line, playing in all 12 games and starting eight. He averaged 42 snaps per game and was named Offensive Lineman of the Game after a dominant performance against UTEP.

Pierce began his college career at FIU, where he appeared in 10 games in 2021, including a start in the season finale at Southern Miss. He redshirted in 2019 and did not see action in 2020 but developed into a steady contributor over time with the Panthers.

A product of Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, Pierce was a force on both sides of the ball. He earned first-team All-Conference honors at tight end and offensive line and helped guide his team to three district titles and a regional championship. He also set a school record for pancake blocks and was named team MVP on the offensive line.

Now in his final season, Pierce brings a strong work ethic, intelligence, and physicality to FIU’s offensive front. His experience on multiple levels and resilience through adversity make him a key leader in the Panthers’ locker room heading into 2025.
