Brylan West, a senior first baseman from Tampa, Florida, has been a standout player for the FIU Panthers. In the 2024 season, he started all 51 games, leading the team with a 1.059 OPS, 11 home runs, 42 RBIs, and 16 doubles. His exceptional performance earned him a spot on the CUSA Second Team All-Conference. Notably, West was named CUSA Hitter of the Week on February 19, 2024, after an impressive series against Long Island, where he went 10-for-12 with nine RBIs, two home runs, and three doubles.
 
Prior to joining FIU, he played at South Florida State College, leading his team with a .411 batting average, 10 home runs, and 56 RBIs over 55 games in 2023. West's consistent offensive contributions have been instrumental to the Panthers' success.
